通過多年的雅思一線教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，筆者能夠切身體會(huì)到雅思口語考 試的特色和變化趨勢。有些話題新穎前沿，需要烤鴨們有足夠的準(zhǔn)備才能夠駕馭，比如說家族生意，一件正裝等，沒有一定的專有詞匯量，有效的邏輯設(shè)計(jì)，很多烤 鴨們在考場上的反應(yīng)望而生畏，無言以對；但是有些話題看似簡單，與生活息息相關(guān)，比如說一個(gè)錯(cuò)誤決定，搬家的經(jīng)歷，或者是一個(gè)曾經(jīng)幫助過的人等，對于大多 數(shù)烤鴨來說，足以簡單到有話可說，有觀點(diǎn)可言，但是邏輯會(huì)魔咒般地簡單，表面甚至是混亂，無情地被打到了5分的行列。但是實(shí)際的教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)告訴我，很多烤鴨在備考時(shí)有時(shí)往往忽略或者陷入瓶頸，沒有什么思路展開這樣的話題，當(dāng)然這往往是中國學(xué)生的軟肋，那要如何準(zhǔn)備這類話題呢？

首先，我想說明的是雅思口語Part2的話題總數(shù)可以達(dá)到70個(gè)左右，如果烤鴨們按照傳統(tǒng)生硬的方式逐個(gè)準(zhǔn)備每個(gè)話題，那難度系數(shù)是比較高的，而且會(huì)耗費(fèi)烤鴨們很多時(shí)間。尤其是對于短時(shí)間內(nèi)要馬上開始考試的烤鴨們來說，將部分話題進(jìn)行合理的加工和串講是一個(gè)非常有效的方式。所以，針對雅思口語最近熱門的話題，比如說A neighbor、a friend you made at the first sight、a polite person、someone who helped you，我們完全可以把這幾個(gè)看起來不同的話題圍繞一個(gè)人物去展開，找到主體思路，根據(jù)幾個(gè)話題的異處做出合理調(diào)整即可。在這里，我們針對someone who helped you為基礎(chǔ)來展開，希望給眾多在雅思考試中求分手的烤鴨們帶來幫助和啟發(fā)。

根據(jù)雅思口語Part2考試的要求，不管要如何展開，前提是要對于cue card上的四個(gè)問題要做到了解，接下來讓我們熟悉卡片上的要求：

Describe someone who helped you.

You should say:

Who it was

What this person did

How this person helped

Explain how you felt after this person helped you

表面上看這幾個(gè)問題都相對簡單，我們只需要對應(yīng)一個(gè)故事（即這個(gè)人怎么幫你）就可以解決這個(gè)話題。不過不要忘記，我之前一直在強(qiáng)調(diào)的話題串講的重要性，我們這里可以把這個(gè)人變成Your neighbor，在一次巧合中，她/他幫助了你，那neighbor怎么幫助我們呢？這一點(diǎn)可以是智者見智，仁者見仁了。接下來，筆者還是會(huì)按照我實(shí)際教學(xué)的理念給大家展開這個(gè)話題的描述。

開場：充分把握時(shí)間，了解自己戰(zhàn)勝開場的尷尬

在我的實(shí)際課堂中，我一直給學(xué)生們灌輸?shù)氖且粋€(gè)獨(dú)特有亮點(diǎn)的開場是我們Part2成功的一個(gè)重要部分。但是部分學(xué)生不是很靈活，習(xí)慣用一個(gè)開場來烘托，殊不知語速偏慢，導(dǎo)致花了太多時(shí)間一直在鋪墊，影響了后面的幾個(gè)問題的正常描述。所以，我們必要時(shí)可以直接一針見血地挑明自己的理想人物或者地點(diǎn)等等。

Speaking of someone that helped me once, I’d like to describe my neighbor who shines as a beautiful person and has exerted a great influence on me.

引申：對于這樣的話題，故事引申是我們成功的關(guān)鍵。盡量避開很難的學(xué)術(shù)詞匯，把重心放在情感流露，會(huì)顯得更真實(shí)。

Refreshing my memory, I got to know her one day when I left my key at home while my parents happened to be at work. It was a little bit chilly and getting late. Unwilling to wait helplessly at the door, I made up my mind to knock doors and take a chance on being adopted for a while. I did not expect it could really happen. But surprisingly, this young lady opened her door and friendly invited me to get inside. Snacks and a cup of hot tea were offered by her who wore a big smile that could light up the whole town. In order to make me feel less anxious, she asked me my parents’ number and told them exactly where I was. Her kindness and consideration made me feel home. The small talk we made at the beginning turned into a long and merry conversation before my parents finally showed up at her place.

結(jié)尾：小小事件揭露深刻的意義，在平凡的背后尋找不平凡。

To be honest, before getting helped by my neighbor who also has become my close friend since after, I was quite upset with my neighborhood as the sense of strangeness almost replaced our old tradition. Most of us shut our doors and our hearts both against others. But my personal experience convinces me that when we get out of our way to help others in need, life will return the favor back to you someday.
