Hi, my name is David Field and I come from Sydney, Australia. I attended The Australian National University and The University of Sydney and majored in Economics and Philosophy. My work experience in Australia includes tutoring at university, working as an investment adviser in a bank and marketing commercial real estate. I first came to china ten years ago to work as a professor at Beijing Foreign Studies University lecturing on western literature and culture. After that I have specialized in I.E.L.T.S. First as an examiner and later with Global IELTS School. I teach speaking and writing. When teaching writing I emphasis that having the right attitude when doing the interview can make a significant difference to a persons result. Also strategies to improve answers to actual test questions are introduced and practised extensively. I focus on the current questions and topics that are being used in the interview. I strongly believe that a persons writing result can be improved in a short time with the right instruction and advice. Unfortunately many candidates never receive this. I provide such instruction and advice. My interests include literature, music, conversation, food and sport.
